Product Photography

Consistent pictures for stores and campaigns, scoped by the number of products and views.

Product photography at Pinakx Photography is for brands that need files they can actually publish: a store, a lookbook, or a page that explains an object. The work happens in a rented studio or a prepared room named in the estimate. There is no public product photography studio address.

Ecommerce and commercial product photography.

Ecommerce product photography depends on consistency. The estimate lists each product, the views (front, detail, scale), the background, and the crop. Commercial product photography for a campaign can be more styled, but it still needs a count. “A full catalogue” is not a count until the products are listed.

Food, flat lays, perfume, and lifestyle.

Food product photography and a Calgary or Vancouver food session need the dishes ready inside the booked hours. Styling help is included only if the estimate names it. Flat lay product photography suits objects that read from above. Perfume product photography and other reflective goods need time for highlights, not a single quick frame. Lifestyle product photography places the object with a person or a setting and usually needs a commercial licence that mentions advertising, not only a product page.

Industrial products.

Industrial product photography covers objects that do not fit a tabletop. The space has to hold them safely. If the picture is really the factory rather than the object, discuss corporate photography as well so access and licence are both clear.

Product photography pricing.

Product photography pricing on a written estimate follows the number of products, the views, the set (white, flat lay, or lifestyle), retouching, studio rental if any, and the licence. A product photography cost for ten simple ecommerce views is not the cost of a styled food day. No sample rate is published, including for Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, or Edmonton. Comparing cities does not change that rule. The city changes travel and studio rental, which the estimate will show if they apply.

Preparation, the product set, and the files.

01

Preparation

Send the product count, the views for each one, the background, and who will clean, assemble, or plate the goods. A catalogue is not scoped until that list exists.

02

Session

The set is the rented room or prepared space in the accepted estimate. Reflective or food items use the time that estimate allows, not a single extra frame at the end.

03

Delivery

You receive the views and the crop named in the estimate, with the commercial licence that estimate spells out.

Questions about product photography.

Do you photograph products for ecommerce?

Yes. Ecommerce frames are planned for consistent colour, a stated background, and a crop that suits the store. The estimate lists the number of products and the views of each.

Can food, flat lays, and perfume be photographed?

Yes, when the products and the styling are available for the booked hours. Food photography needs the dishes ready in the window of time the estimate allows. Perfume and other reflective products need a lighting plan, not a single overhead snap.

How does product photography pricing work?

Pricing follows the count of products, the number of views, whether the shot is on white, a flat lay, or a lifestyle scene, retouching, and the commercial licence. No day rate is published on this page.

Is there a product photography studio address?

No. Controlled product photography is made in a rented studio or a prepared room. The estimate names that arrangement when it is required.

Do you photograph industrial products as well as retail goods?

Yes. Larger products are photographed on location or in a space that can hold them, with the same rule: the licence and the views are written down before the day.
